Revival-lution
Revival: a period of renewed religious interest Revolution: a sudden, radical, or complete change
Revival-lution: sudden, radical, and complete revival of authentic Christianity through apologetics infused discipleship
Consider a house; the most important part of building a house is the foundation. A solid foundation keeps a house from collapsing in on itself. Conversely, a weak foundation almost insures that even the slightest force against the house will result in damage.
The same can be said for Christian belief. If there is a solid foundation then you will find a solid Christian able to withstand the attacks of the world. If there is a weak foundation, the slightest outside force can bring down that Christian. The results are two fold when a Christian is properly discipled to have a strong foundation; 1) they better understand not only what they believe but why they believe it, and 2) they are more capable of evangelizing because they can effectively present the Gospel and the rational and evidenced reasons to believe.
Revival-lution is about breaking away from everything you have known and living a Christian life authentically through apologetics infused discipleship; which means trusting the veracity of God's word, loving people honestly, persisting faithfully, opposing conformity, renouncing sanctimony and embracing the warning that Jesus gave us all; that we should expect to be persecuted for our beliefs.
The Great Commission
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Apologia
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect
1 Peter 3:15
The last thing Jesus instructed his followers to do before He ascended into Heaven was to go and make disciples. The Great Commission in conjunction with the imperative to defend our faith (Apologia) is the foundation of Revival-lution. Our goal is to make disciples who can clearly articulate the Gospel and defend it when questioned about the hope that is found within them. Our goal is to create Revival-lutionaries who will lovingly bring the world to Christ.
