Revival-lutionary

3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

2 Timothy 4: 3-5

It's fairly easy to look around the church, not the world, but the church, and see that far too many people are looking for what they want, and not what the word of God says. Many don't want sound doctrine, they have itchy ears.

Looking in the face of the world, that is demanding this type of Christianity, and saying no, is what makes someone a revival-lutionary.

Being a Revival-lutionary is about believing the veracity of God's word, loving people honestly regardless of what people say, opposing conformity no matter how much you stand out, renouncing sanctimony so that you are seen as authentic, and, despite how straining and personally damaging it might be, embracing persecution because at the end of the day, great will be your reward, and persisting faithfully despite how difficult it may be.
